At Father & Son Window Cleaning, we believe clean windows can change the way a home or business feels. Since 2003, our family-owned window cleaning service in Gig Harbor, WA has helped residential and commercial clients enjoy brighter views, cleaner properties, and service they can trust. We provide window cleaning, gutter cleaning, power washing, and roof cleaning with one simple goal: to leave every customer glad they called us. Meet Our Team
Father & Son Window Cleaning is led by Brian Johnson, owner and founder, along with Tyler Johnson, his son and employee.
Tyler was in middle school when Brian opened the business around 2003. Over the years, he watched the company grow from a small operation into a trusted local name. Today, he is part of the same family tradition Brian started: showing up, working hard, treating people well, and taking pride in the finished result.
Our team is friendly, dependable, detail-focused, and respectful of every property we service. When we bring someone onto our team, we look for people who care about quality, communicate well, and understand that customer trust is earned through consistent work.
Built From a Car
a Ladder, and a Lot of Determination
Father & Son Window Cleaning started with Brian Johnson, a small car, a ladder, and the kind of work ethic you cannot fake.
Before opening the business, Brian had worked for a distributing company that eventually went under. But window cleaning was not new to him. He had cleaned windows for nine years during college, and he knew he was good at it. More importantly, he knew he could build something honest, useful, and dependable for his community.
So in 2003, he started small. There was no big launch, no fancy fleet, and no huge budget. Just Brian showing up, doing the work right, and earning trust one customer at a time.
That is still how we operate today.
A Family Business
That Made It Through the Hard Years
Every business has a chapter that tests what it is really made of. Ours came around 2008 and 2009, when the recession hit and businesses everywhere were struggling. Brian honestly thought he might have to close Father & Son Window Cleaning. It was a difficult season, and there were no shortcuts. But we kept showing up. We kept taking care of customers. We kept believing that quality work and personal service still mattered.
We made it through because our customers kept trusting us, and because we were willing to keep going when things were uncertain. That experience shaped the way we run our business. We do not take a single call, appointment, or referral for granted.
